Window Locks

Standard Espag window locks were widely fitted to uPVC windows for several years but that is has changed now and windows should now be fitted with more secure “twin cam” window locks which have two bi directional cams, locking into the window lock keep or shoot bolts which have locking points locating into the corner of the window frame as well as into the window lock keeps.

If your window is fitted with standard Espag window locks, you can easily add additional security locks to protect against burglar intrusion. Standard espag window locks are not secure and can easily be broken by a burglar. Please ask our customer care team for advise on selecting the correct window lock and increasing the security of your window.
