The slot ventilator is to be surface mounted on all types of windows and is available in any size and finish for slot heights up to 12 mm. The vent allows for upward ventilation, this to avoid undue draught, and is available for controllable ventilation. A special hood is designed to be surface mounted upside down to provide upward deflected air for permanent ventilation. The hood offers weather protection and is available with 2 types of flyscreen : 3 x 4 mm or 6 x 8 mm apertures (for domestic fuel burning applications).
